PROVO BOY IS CRITICAL AFTER BEING HIT BY CAR

A Provo boy is in critical condition at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center after being struck by an automobile in a crosswalk Tuesday morning.

Jacob Cramer, 6, was walking north in an intersection at approximately 200 South and 400 East at 8:30 a.m. when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Shirlene Hopkins, 39, Provo.Cramer was taken to UVRMC suffering from head trauma. Provo Police dispatchers say the accident, already the third automobile-pedestrian accident this year, is under investigation.
