Luetta Petersen Day, died February 26, 1991 in Bozeman, Montana.

Born July 17, 1903 in Ephraim, Utah, a daughter of Niels Lauritz and Maria Christine Olsen Petersen. Married Cecil Day, July 23, 1924, in Manti, Utah. He preceded her in death July 23, 1981.She lived in Provo, Utah before moving to Bozeman, Montana in 1988. She was active in the LDS Church and was a member of the Relief Society. She received vocational training in Salt Lake City, Utah and worked for many years at the Utah State Hospital in Provo.

Survived by one son and two daughters, Hal Day, Orem; Mrs. Betty L. Hale, Elizabeth, Colorado; Mrs. Louise (Shirleen) Gappmayer, Bozeman, Montana; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brother, Grant L. Petersen, Ogden; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister, Cassidy Petersen and Mae Davidson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 2, 1991, 2 p.m., Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo. Friends may call at the mortuary Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment: Orem City Cemetery.
