Soul singer James Brown invoked the title of one of his most famous songs Wednesday after South Carolina corrections officials granted him parole. "I feel good," Brown, 57, said in Columbia. The godfather of soul spent 15 months in prison for leading authorities on a two-state high-speed chase in 1988 and had been in a work-release program in recent months. He will be on parole until late 1993 and then will be on probation for another five years. Now that he's free, Brown says he wants to finish work on new album and change the direction of music. "I want to bring music back to the point you can play it to your mother."
