Bernard King, who overcame a serious knee injury to resume his high-scoring NBA career, was hospitalized briefly Sunday with "an allergic reaction."

Four minutes into the second half of the Boston Celtics' 119-101 victory over Washington, the Bullets called a 20-second timeout. King walked off the court, went to the dressing room and then was taken to nearby Massachusetts General Hospital."We called a 20-second timeout, turned around and no Bernard," said A.J. English, who played 45 minutes with the Bullets down to six healthy players. "It's crazy. We've lost half the team in the last couple of days."
