Somewhere in Kuwait City is a newborn boy named for a New York Times reporter. In the midst of the celebration as allied troops liberated the city from Iraqi forces, a new mother, Nura Dhubia, ran through the crowds looking for an American. The first one she found happened to be a Times correspondent, Chris Hedges, and Dhubia asked him his name. She repeated it and announced that she had promised God to name her new baby after the first American she met during the liberation of her country. "My boy will be named Chris Hedges Dhubia," she said.
