A documentary about the making of a music video that supports America's war effort, shown Thursday night on Fox Channel 13, featured views of Hill Air Force Base personnel in the Middle East.

The video is "Voices That Care." In it, scores of celebrities sing about supporting the troops. The famous include actors Kevin Costner, Meryl Streep, Richard Gere and Mariel Hemingway; singers Kenny Rogers, Little Richard, Randy Travis and Julio Iglesias as well as basketball stars and other sports figures.Earlier, Fox crews had visited the base in the Middle East where two F-16 squadrons from Hill and support teams are stationed. The crews were there to record the reactions of the men and women overseas to the video.

Capt. Jan Lauer of the 388th public affairs office at Hill AFB said some base personnel reported they recognized Hill people overseas who were in the documentary, including Sgt. Bob Jensen of the 388th Aircraft Generation Squadron. The sergeant makes a comment to the effect that after seeing the video, if he were a woman, his makeup would be running - because the celebrities' message touched him so much that he cried.

The documentary about making the video will be rebroadcast on Cable News Network Friday at 8 p.m. MST, according to CNN.
