Shuttle moving out The space shuttle Atlantis is moved without fanfare on Friday from the orbiter processing facility at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida to the vehicle assembly building, where it will be mated to its external tank, getting it ready for its April 4 launch date. It will spend five days deploying Gamma Ray Observatory.
