Filming a movie in the South during August is bad enough, says actor Alex Hyde-White, but it can be doubly uncomfortable when the setting is the Civil War.

"I've never worn so many clothes in my life," Hyde-White said in an interview published Sunday in The Knoxville News-Sentinel. "People shouldn't go anywhere in August. One can scarcely hold one's temper."Hyde-White, son of British actor Wilfred Hyde-White, plays a Confederate naval officer in "Ironclads," a Turner Network Television movie filmed in Richmond, Va., that has its premiere Monday on the cable channel.
