A branch office of First Security Bank, 4740 S. 900 East, was robbed Monday at about 11:15 a.m. by a man who gave a bank employee a note demanding money but did not display a weapon.

He fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and may have left in a white pickup truck. He was described as a scruffy looking white male and was wearing a bright yellow parka and cap and blue jeans.
