Maynard Lewis Pollock, age 48, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, passed away March 7, 1991 of heart failure.

Born October 20, 1942 in Magna, Utah to Sherman DeNorr Pollock and Ila Munsen Pollock. Married Saundra Lee Weight September 1, 1972 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Lived in Magna, Utah, and later graduated from Hurricane High with honors and scholarships, and attended the U. of U. with four years studies in Library Science and English. He was later employed with Salt Lake Hardware and Calif. Tool. He held many teaching positions in the LDS Church, served a stake mission in Las Vegas, and was presently serving as Stake Sunday School president. He was a teacher and counselor. His selfless devotion was known, and benefited all who knew him. His humor and cheer made many feel loved and important. He was a dedicated husband, father, brother and friend.Survived by his wife, Saundra L. Weight Pollock; one son, Michael, and one daughter, Sylvia; and one grandchild; one brother, Sherman D. Pollock, Sr., Magna; two sisters, LeOma Warburton, Salt Lake; Mrs. Earl H. (SuZan) Owen, Willow Creek. Preceded in death by mother and father.

Funeral services will be held in Las Vegas March 11th. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 13th, at Evergreen Cemetery in Springville, Utah.
