Sylvia B. Childs, age 80, of Centerville, died Saturday, March 9, 1991 in Bountiful.
She was born April 3, 1910 in Eureka to Agustav and Johanna Bartell. She married Alden Moses Childs in 1929 in Goshen. She was raised and attended schools in Eureka, graduating from Tintic High. Active in the LDS Church, participating in many Relief Society positions. She had lived in Eureka, Salt Lake City, and Centerville. She enjoyed gardening and reading.She is survived by one son and one daughter, Byron Childs, Centerville; Nelda Davis, of North Ridge, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; preceded in death by one daughter, Delone Childs Hall.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, at 12 noon, in the Wheeler Mortuary Chapel, 211 East 200 South, Springville. Friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. or Wednesday, one hour to service. Burial, Evergreen Cemetery.
