Utah's women's tennis team improved to 8-9 overall with a convincing victory against the Jayhawks of Kansas. The Utes, behind a 6-0 sweep of the singles matches, beat Kansas 8-1 to complete a two-match homestand. Julie Kempin led the Utes at No. 1 singles with a 6-3, 6-2 victory against Renee Baychaudhori.
