In its biggest upset of the year, BYU's women's tennis team topped 13th-ranked Tennessee 8-1 Monday afternoon in Provo. With sophomore Jennifer Holmes playing at No. 1 singles for the third straight match, the Cougars swept the Lady Vols 6-0 in singles and split doubles 2-1.

Holmes, using her topspin forhand drive to nick lines on both sides of the court, made few errors in sweeping Michele McMillen 6-1,

6-0 in 50 minutes.
