"Many Voices: A Research Project Comparing Contemporary Women Artist Groups" is the title of her address to be given in 376 Wilkinson Center.Beckman's area of emphasis is American art, particularly contemporary and feminist art. She is a doctoral candidate at Ohio State University who received her master's degree at Ohio University.
