Iva Lue Tingey Hansen, 78, of Brigham City, died March 10, 1991 at the Brigham City Community Hospital.

Born June 14, 1912 in Mendon, Utah, a daughter of James Warren and Mae Bassett Tingey. Married Earl Varnick Hansen, June 17, 1936 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Member of the LDS Church, serving as Primary president for 25 years. She also served in the Relief Society presidency and as a visiting teacher. Member DUP, the Sego Lily Camp. Her hobbies included sewing, quilting and crocheting. She was always a very giving and loving person. She was the worlds best pie maker.Survived by her husband; one son and three daughters, Dennis Carl Hansen, Midvale; Mrs. Jerry (Eileen) VanDehei, Roy; Mrs. Allan (Lorraine) Foxley, Layton; Mrs. John (Becky) Reagan, Roy; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister, Maurice Tingey, Weston, Idaho; LaDell Tingey, Eugene, Oregon; Mrs. Elma Johnson, Provo. Preceded in death by three brothers and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 14, 11 a.m., 5th Ward, 420 South 800 West in Brigham City, with Bishop Dennis Baird, conducting. Friends may call Wednesday evening, 6-8 p.m., Petersen Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South and also Thursday, 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment: Brigham City Cemetery.
