Alice Lenore Hess Silvester, 84, died Monday, March 11, 1991, in the Box Elder County Nursing Home, Tremonton, of causes incident to age.

She was born May 16, 1906, in Plymouth, a daughter of William J. and Jane S. Archibald Hess. She married William Silvester September 22, 1926, in Brigham City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Mr. Silvester died November 8, 1973.Surviving are four sons and two daughters and their spouses, Peggy Ann and Ray Justesen, Moses Lake, Washington; Clarence and Marge Silvester, Layton; Sandra and Albert Birks, West Valley City; Kyle and Jacque Silvester, Clearfield; William and Nancy, Yardley, Pennsylvania; Ned and Rosalie Silvester, Riverside; 30 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Also surviving are four brothers, three sisters, William Hess, Hyde Park; Glenn Hess, Deweyville; Reed Hess, Taylor; DeVerl Hess, Logan; Mrs. Laura (Dean) Christensen, Grace, Idaho; Mary A. Hess, Brigham City; Mrs. Zona (Marvin) Nielson, Riverdale.

Funeral services will be held, Thursday, March 14, 11 a.m. at The Belmont Ward Chapel, 16925 No. 5200 West, Riverside, with Bishop Brent Macfarlane officiating. Friends may call Wednesday 6 to 8 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 No. 100 East, Tremonton and Thursday 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment: Plymouth Cemetery.
