Robert Lawrence "Lotts" Latsis, age 74, died March 11, 1991 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born May 8, 1916 in Salt Lake County, Utah, a son of Peter John and Hattie Mae McCory Latsis. Married Dorothy Green, July 25, 1935 in Salt Lake City. Loved the Greek Orthodox Church. Born and raised in Bingham Canyon and later moved to West Jordan. Self-employed as a tavern owner. Veteran of World War II. Drove Yellow Cab. Worked and retired from Kennecott Copper Corp. Was a drum instructor for Magna Drum and Bugle Corp. Loved life and all those he met. Was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Loved music, played piano and drums. Enjoyed golf, bowling, travel and Golden Eagle Hockey.Survived by one son, one daughter, Lawrence "Lanny" Latsis, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Terry (Doreen) Harmon, West Valley City; one brother, Dan Latsis, Murray; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Laura Mortensen; preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, son, Robert, brother, John.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12 noon, at the McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Rd., where friends may call Wednesday 5-8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to service. Interment: Midvale City Cemetery.
