Elvie Lee Myers Marksman, 92, beloved sister, aunt and friend, died March 12, 1991 in American Fork, Utah.

She was born February 17, 1899 in Highland, Utah, the second of five children to George Yost and Mary Lee Wilson Myers. She also had nine half-brothers and sisters. She married Fred L. Marksman January 22, 1939 in Los Angeles; he died November 5, 1947. She worked as a buyer in Women's Ready to Wear for several large department stores in California, Idaho and Utah including Bullocks, Makoffs and ZCMI. She was devout member of the LDS Church having served as a Stake Missionary and did extensive genealogy research.She is survived by two brothers, Delos Myers, Orem; and Bennie Earl Myers, Midway; and a sister LaDean M. Wagstaff, American Fork; numerous nieces and nephews who love and revere her memory. She was preceded in death by a brother Gilbert Y. Myers.

Funeral Services will be Friday, 2 p.m. in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 East 100 North, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial in the Provo City Cemetery.
