Our beloved mother, grandmother and sister, Dezzie Gene Tripp Robinson passed away March 12, 1991 at her home in the loving care of Lewis and Betty.

She was born December 29, 1897 in Murray, Utah to Lewis and Dezzie Shoell Tripp. Married Wilford Robinson for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake LDS Temple June 22, 1921; he died July 31, 1973. Gene was in the first graduating class of Murray High School and received her teachers certificate from the University of Utah, after which she taught at Arlington Elementary School, in Murray. She was an active member in the LDS Church, serving in various callings over her lifetime. She was always an inspiration to family and friends. We love her and will miss her strong and independent spirit.Survived by one son, Lewis W. Robinson and his wife, Betty, ten grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Bill (Della) Weber. Preceded in death by a son, Donald L. Robinson, a great-grandson, Erick White, three sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday March 16, 1991 at the Fort Union Sixth Ward, 6770 So. 500 East, Midvale. Friends may call Friday evening 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State, Murray, and Saturday one hour prior to services at the church. Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
