Donnie Burns and Gaynor Fairweather will headline the 17th annual International Ball and Dance Championships at Brigham Young University on Friday and Saturday, March 22-23. The duo are reigning world professional Latin American champions.

Tickets for the event, scheduled for 6:30 each evening in the Wilkinson Center Ballroom, are on sale at the BYU dance ticket office, 165 Richards Building, 378-2110. Reserved tables are $10 per night, or $18 for both nights. Reserved platform seating is $7 or $18, general admission $5 or $8.About 400 are expected to compete in events for children through college students in American, international, Latin and ballroom styles. For the first time, the current world champion BYU Ballroom Dance Company will compete with alumni of the company. Last year's ball drew an audience of more than 4,000.
