Marcelle Greenhalgh Belliston, age 60, died at her home Sunday, March 17, 1991 after an extended illness.

She was born December 21, 1930 in Provo to Hebert H. and Lazelle Chase Greenhalgh. She grew up on farms in Idaho. She graduated from Juab High School in Nephi where she had cared for her aged grandmother. She then attended Utah State University for 2 years prior to her marriage in the Salt Lake LDS Temple to Angus H. Belliston on September 5, 1951. They resided in Bountiful, Salina and Provo during the course of their life together. They are parents of seven children and gave a home to a like number of foster children. Mrs. Belliston was a descendant of many fine pioneer ancestors and was a life long active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a career homemaker and mother. She had participated in the marriage plans and wedding of her last two children. One to marry the day before her death.Survived by her husband, Provo; and children Camille Dowler, Gila, New Mexico; Anne Curtis, Orangeville, Utah; Janine Ruff, Provo; James, Logan; Carl, Manchester, Conneticut; Kathryn Bened, Ambilly, France; Nathan, Logan; mother, Lazelle Greenhalgh, Hayburn, Idaho; two brothers, Nile Greenhalgh, Chicago, Illinois; Wain Greenhalgh, New Jersey.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. in the Provo Rock Canyon LDS Chapel, 2445 No. 650 East. Friends may call at the church, Wednesday evening from 6:30-9:30 p.m. and from 9:45-10:45 a.m. on Thursday prior to the service. Interment 2:30 p.m. in the Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi. Family suggests contributions to the LDS Church Missionary Fund in lieu of flowers. Funeral directors: Anderson Funeral Home, Nephi.
