A justice of the peace ruled Friday there was probable cause to hold actress Dana Plato on charges she robbed a video store clerk at gunpoint of $160.
Plato, best known for her role as Kimberly Drummond on the long-running television show "Diff'rent Strokes," remained jailed in the Clark County Detention Center. She did not attend the hearing before Justice of the Peace James Bixler, who reduced her bail from $20,000 to $13,000.Plato, 26, was arrested Thursday after she approached officers investigating the robbery of the Lakes Video store and the clerk pointed her out as the suspect, said Las Vegas Metro Police Lt. Charles Davidaitis.
Police later found a pellet gun that resembled a 9mm pistol in the woman's apartment behind the video store, he said.
