Rebecca Hammon Harker, age 46, died March 20, 1991 at her home in Colorado City of cancer.

Born June 30, 1944 at Short Creek, Arizona, daughter of Jonathan Marion and Jenna Vee Morrison Hammon. Married Merrill Joseph Harker March 12, 1961 in Colorado City, Arizona. She loved babies, children, flowers, music, and everything beautiful. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a beautiful singing voice.Survived by two sons, Jonathan Merrill Harker; and Hyrum Parley Harker, both of Delta; six daughters, Elizabeth Ann Wall, Rhoda Marie Hammon, Maureen Melinda Dockstader, Joyce ReNae Harker, Christene Harker, and Diane Cathrene Harker, all of Colorado City; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Michael Hammond, Salt Lake City; and Arthur Lee Hammon, Colorado City; four sisters, Helen Cawley, Esther Christensen, and Christine Timpson, all Colorado City; and Elaine Cawley, of Salt Lake City.

There will be a viewing Friday evening at the J.M. Hammon Family Home, from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 23, 1991, at 2 p.m., at the Centennial Park Community Center. Interment at the J.M. Hammon Family Memorial Park in Colorado City under the direction of Spilsbury-Desert Rose Mortuary, St. George and Hurricane, Utah.
