AGGRAVATED ROBBERY SUSPECT
Height: 5 feet 4 to 9 inches
Weight: 140 pounds
Hair: Dark brown
Wanted for several aggravated robberies.Salt Lake County sheriff's detectives have obtained a composite drawing of a man they believe has robbed four pharmacies since Feb. 22. The robber, who claims he is a drug addict, has stolen Percocet and Percodan.
In each of the robberies, the man handed the pharmacist a note reading, "I am an addict. I have a gun. Be smart and no one will get hurt." Sheriff's officials believe the robber could have become addicted to the pain killers after being given them legally by a doctor. Detectives believe he truly is an addict because he took some of the pills immediately after one pharmacist gave them to him.
The suspect robbed Millcreek Pharmacy, 1260 E. Vine St., on Feb. 22 and March 7. He robbed Brighton Pharmacy, 7138 S. 2000 East, on Feb. 26 and South East Pharmacy, 2670 S. 2000 East, on March 4. Detectives hope to find the man and get him help.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is encouraged to call the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office at 535-5441.
