Maurine C. Beck, former resident of Salt Lake City, Utah, died 18 March, 1991 in Walnut Creek, California after an extended illness.

Maurine was born 4 October, 1910 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Webster Ellsworth and Hallie Ann Christman. Raised and educated in Montpelier, Idaho, she graduated, Cum Laude, Class of 1931, from the LDS School of Nursing in Salt Lake City. She was Assistant Director of the Student Health Service at the University of Utah from 1942 to 1955. For many years there after, she assisted her husband, Dr. Wilford W. Beck, Jr. in his private medical practice.She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Dr. W. W. Beck, Jr.; daughter, Carolyn Abravanel; daughter, Nancy Warren; son, W. W. Beck III; sisters, Marcelline Dunn and Ruth Nuru; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Private family services were held in Walnut Creek, California.
