George Edward Larsen, 77, passed away March 21, 1991 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born March 6, 1914 in Spanish Fork, Utah to Christian Henry and Amalie Marie Mortensen Larsen. He married Theo Merle Johnson January 26, 1935 in Salt Lake City; marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Merle passed away July 2, 1972. He married Frieda Anthony on August 26, 1972. He was a great sportsman and gardener. He was a member of the LDS Church and served as an ordinance worker in the Jordan River LDS Temple. Retired from the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad.Survived by hsi wife, Salt Lake City; sons, Merlyn, Kansas City, Missouri; David, Napa, California; daughters, Mr. Ralph (Shirley) Winberg, Riverton; Mrs. Dennis (Kathryn) Patterson, Axtell, Utah; Carolyn Scholes, Earl Anthony, and Glenn Anthony, Salt Lake City; 14 grandchildren; brothers, Earl K. Larsen, Salt Lake City; Kenneth, Mapleton. Preceded in death by brothers, Darwin and Carl.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 25, 1991, at 2 p.m., at the Memorial Estates Morutary, 5850 South 900 East. Friends may call at the mortuary on Sunday, March 24, from 6-8 p.m. and on Monday, 1-1:45 p.m. Burial, Memorial Gardens of the Valley.
