Meda Emily Abel Hunsaker, 90, of American Fork, died Friday, March 22, 1991 at the American Fork Hospital of causes incident to age.

Born July 31, 1900 in American Fork, to George E. and Mary Ellen Shelley Abel. Married Don L. Hunsaker, October 11, 1922 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died November 20, 1990. She graduated from BYU in 1948, and taught school, 2nd grade for 23 years. Having taught at Harrington, Forbes, and the Utah State Training School. She was a homemaker and member of the LDS Church, having served as a missionary in Florida, and as a temple worker. She loved gardening and yard care.Survived by two sons, four daughters, Max A. Hunsaker, Dora Helsing, Mrs. Delmar (Meda) Fraughton, all American Fork; Glen L. Hunsaker, San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Karl (Ramona) Jones, Murray; Mrs. Newel (Reva) Price Adamson, Lehi; 38 grandchildren, 110 great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Elmer (Mary) Clarkson, Provo.

Funeral services, Tuesday, March 26, 11 a.m. in the American Fork 8th Ward Chapel, 300 North 100 East. Friends may call at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Lehi, Monday from 6-9 and at the church Tuesday one hour prior to services. Interment, American Fork City Cemetery.
