Rose Groo Robins White Duke, age 93, died Saturday, March 23, 1991, at Crosslands Health Care Center, Sandy, Utah.

Rose was born in Salt Lake City, Utah July 11, 1898 to Edmund J. and Rose Groo Robins. Graduated from the University of Utah in 1920 with a BA degree and high school teaching certificate. Taught in Goshen, Utah Junior High School, 1920 to 1922. Married Colon C. White August 15, 1922. He preceded her in death. Renewed teaching certificate at Brigham Young University in 1935 and taught junior high in Sunnyside, Utah through 1937. Married Leon Duke, who preceded her in death. Took graduate training at the University of Utah in social work in 1949. Worked for Carbon County Welfare Department, and Salt Lake County Welfare Department until she retired in 1963.According to her wishes, there will be no services. Donor.

Survived by sister, Elizabeth R. Dickerson; niece, Katherine R. Becker; and grand-niece, Sidney B. Thompson.
