A man raped a 19-year-old woman in a Trolley Square parking lot Thursday night, and the woman said an ex-boyfriend stood nearby and gave instructions.

Salt Lake police said the woman was accosted in the parking lot just south of 600 South near 550 East about 11 p.m. Thursday. A man grabbed her and pulled her into the southwest corner of the lot and raped her while following the directions of the victim's ex-boyfriend.The woman and her ex-boyfriend have been apart for three years, said Sgt. Ed Lyman, but have apparently been feuding with each other during that time. Police were investigating the incident but had not made any arrests as of Friday night.
