The public can make donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Association at participating businesses: 7-Eleven convenience stores, JB's and Skippers restaurants and establishments that sell Budweiser products.Organizers say money raised is a way to turn an Irish symbol of good luck - the shamrock - into a symbol of hope and help for those who suffer from one of 40 diseases under the Muscular Dystrophy Association's umbrella.
