Officials of Comlink International have entered into a preliminary agreement with Allen Communications to sell licensing rights to Allen in exchange for royalties on products sold by Allen utilizing Comlink's digital motion video software technology.
Upon implementation of the agreement, money generated by the agreement will be paid in specified amounts over the next three years and will include royalties from the sale of Allen's successful Quest multimedia authoring software.Royalty payments over the life of the agreement could exceed $3 million to Comlink, said Ron Hansen, Comlink president.
"Since our exposure at our first trade show in November of last year, Comlink has matured from a research and development company to a production and marketing company," said Hansen.
