For the second week in a row and third time this season, Boise State center Tanoka Beard has been honored as the Big Sky Conference men's basketball player of the week, the league announced.

The 6-9 sophomore from Ogden, Utah, guided the Broncos to an 80-66 victory over Idaho and 80-63 win at Weber State to extend Boise State's winning streak to seven games.For the week, Beard scored 47 points, grabbed 16 rebounds, was 17 for 24 from the floor and 13 of 18 in free throws. Beard also had four blocked shots and was credited with two steals and two assists in the games.

The award was the final one of the regular season heading into this week's Big Sky Conference postseason tournament in Missoula, Mont.
