Following a tip from a clerk, Layton police officers arrested an 18-year-old man early Sunday and charged him with aggravated robbery in the holdup of a convenience store.

The clerk identified the suspect as a man who entered the store at 2601 N. 400 West about 1:30 a.m. Sunday, pulled a knife and demanded money, police said.The clerk gave the man some money, and he fled on foot through a nearby mobile home park, police said. Detectives identified the suspect from the clerk's description and arrested him a short time later at his home.
