A West Valley couple, turned in to police by their son, has been charged in federal court with drug and firearm possession.

Robert Harry and Teresa Y. Barkau, both 33, were arrested Feb. 13 after West Valley police were led to their home by the couple's son. The boy was stopped earlier in the day after two other juveniles said they had received marijuana from him.Police found approximately 18 pounds of "high-grade" marijuana in the Barkaus' home, along with $3,500 in cash and weapons, including an assault rifle, said West Valley Assistant Chief Terry Keefe. Street value of the drugs was estimated between $50,000 and $54,000.
