Felix Julius Richter, age 86, left this life on March 2, 1991 in his home.

Born July 27, 1904 in Buchholz, Germany to loving parents, Edmund Richter and Frieda Viertel-Richter.Serving a new life in a new land, he immigrated to the United States in 1926, returning to Buchholz, Germany for his parents Silver Wedding Anniversary. He married Gertrude Ranft in 1929. Gertrude died in 1961. They had three children together: John, Robert, and Margaret. In 1964, he married Klara Helene Wagler in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

All his life, he was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Although he held many callings in the church, one was more loved by him than genealogy.

He is survived by his wife, Klara; children, John and Margaret of Milwaukee, Wisc.; and Robert of West Windsor, N.J.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and lastly, a sister, Johanne Hofman in Buchholz, Germany.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Tuesday, March 5, 1991, in the German Speaking Ward, 650 East 100 South. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the ward. Felix Richter's final resting place will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.

He was loved by all and will be truly missed by his wife, children, family and friends.
