Leonard Alvin "Red" Jackson, our wonderful, unselfish, warm, caring, sensitive, funny, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away March 3, 1991.

Born January 6, 1914 to Lorin Allen Jackson and Maynie West Jackson in Omaha, Nebraska. Married Elain Sovern in 1943. She preceded him in death July 4, 1979. Married Alice Paez Jackson September 29, 1979.Red was an active produce broker for over 35 years and co-owner of the Salt Lake Produce Market. He gave many men their start in life and was loved by all those who knew him. Red will live on in the hearts of us all.

Survivors include his wife, Alice; children, Judy Jackson; Patrick Jackson; stepchildren, Deborah Sparenberg Wing; Dave Sparenberg; two grandchildren;, Eric and Sean Wing, all Utah; and one sister, Margarett Kaplan, California.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 6th, at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main Street in Bountiful, where friends may call Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. before the services at Russon Brothers.
