Reach for the raisins.
Over the past few years, the dancing California Raisins heightened the visibility of the lowly, shriveled grape. Dancing from lunch-box stage to Saturday morning cartoons, the pudgy troupe convinced us that rai sins ought to be a part of every day's eating.Raisins hold a long-term position as a staple for such things as oatmeal cookies or rice pudding but may be a surprise in a savory sauce over a slice of salmon or a wild-rice pancake appetizer.
Whether your favorite raisin recipe is tried and true or exotic and experimental, send it to the April Recipe Exchange.
