Marjorie Mitchell Lewis, 60, died March 4, 1991 at her home in Heber City.

Born January 29, 1931 in Kamas, Utah to Daniel and Mary Alice Pace Mitchell. Married Rulon Ray Lewis February 7, 1948 in Kamas; marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active member of the LDS Church, having served as YWMIA president and in the Primary and Relief Society presidencies. She served in the Young Women's Organization for 26 years and also in the Sunday School. She was the recipient of the Golden Gleaner Award and the Young Womens Medallion. Member of the DUP and served as county president and camp captain. Secretary at Wasatch County School District office for 10 years and had worked for Deseret Federal for 7 1/2 years. Owned and operated Marge's Bridal Classic for 6 1/2 years.Survived by husband, Heber City; daughters, Mrs. Phil (Verna) Sweat and GayLyn Hadfield, both of Heber City; foster son, Alex Leon, Mexico City; grandchildren, Mrs. Steven (Danielle) Jeffs, Trevor Sweat, Kaci Sweat, Willie Hadfield, Cara Hadfield and Becky Hadfield; one great-granddaughter; Kirsti Jeffs; two sisters and one brother, May Gines, Kamas; Eve Bisberg, National City, California; Ralph Mitchell, Spring Valley, California. Preceded in death by a baby daughter, Darlene; one sister and four brothers.

Funeral services Thursday 1 p.m. in the Heber 3rd Ward. Friends may call at Olpin Mortuary Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to services. Burial, Heber City Cemetery.
