Our loving mother and grandma, Katheryn Marjorie Westbrook Plowgian, 66, died March 3, 1991 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born January 1, 1925 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Erwin Phillip and Bessie Roth Westbrook. Married Robert Aram Plowgian June 22, 1944 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on June 3, 1988. She worked for 25 years for J.C. Penney as a faithful and devoted executive secretary until her retirement in 1983. Held various church positions including 28 years in the Jr. Sunday School program in all capacities, Relief Society Homemaking leader for five years and more currently served as a ward librarian. A very devoted mother and grandmother and had a great love for her family. Also a kind, caring, loving neighbor. She enjoyed life to the fullest and especially enjoyed church socials, outings, boating, camping, and trips to St. George. She was an avid sports fan, particularly when her grandchildren and ward members were involved. One of her loves in life was her service to others and being a helping hand.Survived by: son, Larry Robert and wife Nancy; daughter, Joan P. Holt; brother, Robert E. Westbrook, all of Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren: Leslie, Robert, Jeffrey, Shannon, Kristin Plowgian; Brian, Travis Holt. Preceded in death by her husband and sister, Barbara Seddon.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12 noon, March 7, 1991 at the Wilford Stake Center, 3080 So. 1765 E. Friends may call Wednesday 6-8:30 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Drive, and Thursday at the ward 10:45-11:45 a.m. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
