Raymond J. "Pancho" Campos, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away March 2, 1991 at the age of 83, after a lingering illness.

He was born March 9, 1907 to Pricilianna Campos in Ignacio, Colorado. Married Julianna Martinez December 1, 1933 in Montrose, Colorado. Retired from Salt Lake Transfer Co. Very active in his church. Gave much of his time to St. Vincent De Paul soup kitchen.Survived by his loving wife; two sons and two daughters, Ray P. Campos and his wife, Connie, James A. Campos and his wife, Olive, Patricia C. Carillo and her husband, Levi, Arlene Steed and her husband, Dee; loving sister, Mrs. John T. (Mary) Herrera, all of Salt Lake City; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his mother; two brothers and two sisters.

A vigil will be held Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 715 West 300 North. Friends may call beginning at 6 p.m. A funeral mass will be held Thursday, March 7, 1991 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Burial, Salt Lake City Cemetery. Arrangements by MacKay Deseret Mortuary.
