Kenna Day Mecham, age 67, passed away March 4, 1991 in West Valley City, Utah.

Born May 30, 1923 in Castle Dale, Utah; a daughter of Ferrel and Mary Johnson Day. Married Garth D. Mecham, February 2, 1946 in Elko, Nevada; their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple September 13, 1946. She taught home economics in Granite School District. Active member of the LDS Church, serving in Primary, Relief Society and Drama. A very loving and most generous person who touched the lives of all she met.Survived by husband, Garth, Kearns; three sons and one daughter, David G., Douglas F., Mrs. Jack (Kay) Eaton, all of West Valley City; Richard L., Taylorsville; one brother, Keith Day, Huntington, Utah; three sisters, Marjorie Day, Calif.; Mrs. Ralph (Ruby Ann) DeGroot, Layton; Jean Faulkner, Ogden; 16 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 12 noon at the Kearns Utah Central Stake Center, 4575 West 5415 So. Friends may call Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 So. Redwood Road, and Friday at the church 11:00-11:40 a.m. Interment Larkins Sunset Gardens.
