The first event in a special program celebrating the centennial of Utah State University's Merrill Library will be held Thursday, March 7.

"Trails to Adventure," a look at the geographic corridor between Logan and Yellowstone National Park, is offered by historian Bradford Cole at 7:30 p.m. in the Tanner Room, located in the library's Special Collections area.Following Cole's presentation, members of a discussion panel will look at current and future uses for this Yellowstone corridor area.

Panel members include Jud Preston, representing the Utah Trail Machine Association; David Baumgartner, representing the U.S. Forest Service; Tom Lyon, USU professor, writer and environmentalist, and Richard Carter, representing the Utah Wilderness Society.
