Beloved husband, daddy and grandpa, Donald Frederick Dean, died at home in his wife's arms surrounded by his family, March 2, 1991.

Born March 30, 1925 in Trout Creek, Michigan to Leo J. and Grace Dickinson Dean. Married Luana Kraus, August 23, 1946, in Elko, Nevada. Served in the Navy in World War II. Worked as a firefighter for the U.S. Government and worked for the State Line Hotel. He had many supportive friends.Survived by his wife; daughters and son, Mrs. Craig (Diana) Haskell; Scott W. and Andrea Dean; Mrs. Archie (Nikki) Fellows; mother, Mrs. Robert (Grace) Wineland; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, James R. Deane; sisters, Mrs. Ulyses (Edna) Jeffs and Mrs. Fred (Alice) Garny.

Funeral services Friday, March 8th, 12 Noon, Alta View First Ward, 1850 East 8600 South, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment in Sandy, Utah at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary.
