Cherie Hiatt 34, died at home in Orem March 4, 1991 after a long, valiant strugle with a difficult illness.
Born October 4, 1956 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Jay Lucas and Florence McGuire Hiatt. Graduated from Milford High School and Seminary in Milford, Utah. Received Associate Degree in nursing from Weber State College in 1977. Practiced as a registered nurse in Ogden, Milford, Cedar City and American Fork and in Eugene, Oregon. Cherie's hobbies and talents included music, sewing, outdoor sports and a variety of artistic endeavors. Member LDS Church.Survived by parents, Orem; sisters and brothers, Patti and Cary Cammack, Downey, Idaho; Lee Ann and Jim Meade, Randy and LeeAnne Hiatt, all of Salt Lake City; Jeff and Cristina Hiatt, Tucson, Arizona; 12 nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved and who loved their Aunt Cherie; also many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, all of whom have enjoyed her love and wonderful sense of humor.
Funeral services Friday 12 noon at Suncrest 2nd Ward (130 N. 400 W., Orem.) Friends may call at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary (495 S. State, Orem) Thursday 6-8 p.m. and at the church Friday one hour prior to services. Burial, Heber City Cemetery. Funeral Directors, Olpin Mortury, Heber City.
