Elzina D. Ross, 83 year old Burley resident, died Monday, march 4, 1991 at the Burley Care Center in Burley.
She was born November 19, 1907 in Basin, Idaho, the daughter of Thomas E. and Penelopy Wixom Dayley. She attended schools in Springdale and graduated from Burley High School. She married Elbert Emer Ross, November 19, 1935 in Burley. She has lived in West Jordan, Draper, Price, Garland, Ogden, Filer, Mesa, Arizona; Boise, Rupert and moved to Burley in 1987 where she has since resided. Mr. Rose preceded her in death in November 1976. She was a member of the LDS Church and had served in many capacities. She loved stamp collecting, quilting and painting with watercolors and oil.She is survived by two sons, Earl "Bud" Ross, Draper; Howard Ross, Burley, Idaho; Three daughters, Darlene Passey, Enid, Oklahoma; Deone Ross, Brigham City; and Elaine Cox, West Jordan; two brothers, Ivan Dayley, Springdale, Idaho; and Had Dayley, American Fork; one sister, Orenia Burgess, Springdale, Idaho; 18 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 8, 1991 at the View LDS Chapel, 550 South 500 East, Burley, Bishop Harold Quast, Officiating. Burial, Rupert Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hansen Mortuary, Thursday afternoon and evening and at the church one hour prior to the services on Friday.
