A symposium on The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Missouri is scheduled March 29, 30 at Brigham Young University.

Elder John K. Carmack, executive director of the church's historical department and a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy in the LDS Church, will be the keynote speaker. He will speak at 2 p.m. in the Joseph Smith Building Auditorium, and the title of his lecture is "Missouri Era: Residue of Wisdom." The symposium will emphasize the past, present and future of the church in Missouri, according to Milton V. Backman, professor of church history and doctrine at BYU.
