Comlink International, a company that developed computer software technology used in teaching and communications, has entered into an agreement with Reliance Inc. to sell distribution rights of Comlink products in Utah.

Under terms of the agreement, Comlink will be given $45,000 in cash plus 50 percent of the total outstanding shares in Reliance Inc. Reliance will receive rights to sell Comlink multimedia software through distribution channels with the state and will change its name to Com-link of Utah.Ron Hansen, Comlink International president, said, "We are pleased there has been such a strong interest in distribution rights for the new multimedia software currently nearing completion. Without any formal advertising, we are already negotiating similar distribution joint venture rights to eight additional states."

When the joint venture distribution rights to all 50 states are sold, Comlink could expect in excess of $15 million in revenue from these agreements alone, Hansen said.
