An early bird class for first-time parents in the early months of pregnancy is offered monthly at Intermountain Health Care hospital in Utah County.

The class gives information on physical and emotional changes in pregnancy, nutrition, warning signs, fetal development, exercises, handouts, and a tour of the nursery and delivery area. Question-and-answer periods are included.Classes start each month at a cost of $5 per couple. Register and receive additional information by calling representatives of Utah Valley Regional Medical Center at 379-7128. The class is also offered at Orem Community Hospital, 227-3352, and at American Fork Hospital, 763-3603.
