JoAnn Kimber Tanner, age 56, died Wednesday, March 6, 1991 at the LDS Hospital.

She was born August 10, 1934 in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Joseph Edwin and Martha Amanda Hart Kimber. She married Gordon K. Tanner on December 16, 1955 in Elko, Nevada. She was a member of the LDS Church. She had been employed at Box Elder County Bank and First Interstate Bank in Brigham City, taking medical leave in 1986.Survivors include her husband, Brigham City; three sons and two daughters, Dee and Colleen Tanner, Honeyville; Chris and Cross Tanner, Brigham City; Bruce and Shelley Tanner, and Mrs. Richard (Shellie) Calchera, all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Tony (Cheryl) Ferrara, Sandy; 10 grandchildren; also surviving are two brothers, Lee Kimber, Clearfield; Keith Kimber, Heyburn, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Norm and one sister, Carolyn.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 12, 1991, at 1 p.m. in the Grouse Creek Ward Chapel, with Bishop Steve Kimber conducting. Friends may call Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Petersen Funeral Chapel in Brigham City, and also Tuesday at the ward chapel from 11:30 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be in the Grouse Creek Cemetery.
