Alvin D. Loveridge, 79, of Salt Lake City, died March 6, 1991 in Salt Lake City.

He was born August 11, 1911 in Salt Lake City to Obed Delos and Minnie Ann Lunt Loveridge. He married Esther Charlotte Gulbransen on March 5, 1938 in Farmington, Utah; she died May 17, 1976. A lifetime resident of Salt Lake City, he was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army in Okinawa and Guam. He worked at Ft. Douglas as a warehouseman, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.He is survived by a daughter, Deeann and her husband Paul Reynolds, Salt Lake City; three grandchildren, Joseph, Laurie and Timothy Reynolds, all of Salt Lake City; a brother, Glen Loveridge, North Chili, New York. He was preceded in death by a brother Loyal Loveridge.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 11, 1991 at 1 p.m. at the MacKay Cotttonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Drive, where friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Monday, one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Holladay Memorial Park.
